Virginia "Ginny" Owen, 74, of Georgetown, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. Ginny enjoyed sharing her heart with others by crocheting crosses to give as gifts to anyone she met.
She was born on December 29, 1948, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Henry Hines and Joyce (Powell) Hines. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Benjamin Hines; and infant sister, Penny Hines.
Ginny is survived by her husband, Chris Owen; daughter, Faith (Todd) Rufer; son, Christian Bright; stepson, Chris (Eva) Owen, Jr.; brother, John Hines; and grandchildren, Raelynn Rufer, Tre Bright, and Chad Owen.
Cremation was chosen following Ginny's wishes, and no services will be held at this time.
