Virginia Lee (Staser) Lilly, 82, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 in New Albany, Indiana.
Ginny was a dedicated wife, mother, grandma & great-grandma. She was born on August 2, 1930 to the late George Lee & Virginia Louise (Hurst) Staser. Ginny married the love of her life, Edward Charles Lilly, on August 9, 1947.
Ginny is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Edward Lilly; children, Craig Lilly (Diane), Paul Lilly (Brenda), Elaine Bailey (Joe), Charles Lilly (Marty), & Virginia Stiles (Gary); sisters, Tarassia Tharp (Mark), Dr. Linda Magness (Ken); sister-in-law, Donna Staser; 10 grandchildren, Angel, Chad, Brent (Randi), Tara (Eddie), Paul (Jan), Matt, Kristen (Brad), Logan, Adam (Tiffany), & Kelsey; and 13 great-grandchildren. Along with her parents, Virginia is preceded in death by her brother, Roger Staser and her sister, Patricia Lamb.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Friday, March 29, 2013, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will take place at 10 AM Saturday at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church (Chapel) with burial to follow at the church cemetery.
