Virginia Lee(Stoess) Scherzinger

Virginia Lee (Stoess) Scherzinger, 88, of Louisville, passed away on Friday, November 9th at the Episcopal Church Home. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and great-grandmother. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Dempsey (Dutzie) Scherzinger, of 52 years in 1995.

She is survived by her five children: Ronald (Beverly); Daryl (Terry); Sharon Singh(Deepak); Diane Smith (Scott) and Gary (Elikolani). She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren: Rhonda Scherzinger Andreopoulos, Ryan Scherzinger,Nicole Scherzinger, Simran Singh, Chandan Singh, and Ke'Ala Leemon. Her great-daughters include Zoe Andreopoulos, Lillie, Lexie and Ellie Leemon. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, whom she loved very much.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude and appreciation to all of Virginia's dedicated workers at the Episcopal Church Home where she resided the last seven months of her life.

Visitation on Monday, November 12, 2012 in the Chapel of the Episcopal Church Home 7504 Westport Road Louisville, KY 40222, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be in the Chapel of the Episcopal Church Home at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, with burial following the funeral service at Floydsburg Cemetery in Crestwood, Kentucky.
