Virginia L.(Vicroy) Martin

Virginia L. (Vicroy) Martin, 77, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2013. She was a member of First Capital Christian Church in Corydon, Indiana. Virginia was a true animal lover, always enjoyed being outdoors working in her yard, and had a knack for interior design and quilting.
She was born on February 17, 1936 in Miami, Ohio to the late Gilbert Vicroy and Mary Catherine (Campfield) Barth. Virginia is survived by her husband of 37 years, John L. Martin; children, Kathy Atwood (Beverly), Mark Stevens (Pamela), Traci Miller, Kimberly Blanco (Hector); grandchildren, Michelle Cochran (Michael), Zane Stevens and Brandon, Hunter Miller, Angel Louis Blanco; great-grandchildren, Brianne and Austin Cochran.
Visitation will be from 9 AM to 12 PM on Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will take place at 12 PM Saturday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League (215 W. Market Street, New Albany).
