Virginia B. "Ginny" Goff

Virginia "Ginny" Goff, age 97 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Cherokee Park Rehabilitation.  She was born October 12, 1926 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Simon Ison Broughton and Bessie Lee Broughton.  She married Randall Goff on November 1, 1946.  Virginia loved playing bingo and spending time with family.   In addition to her parents, Virginia is preceded in death by her husband, Randall H. Goff; daughters, Margie Brady and Mary Ann Goff; and son-in-law, Howard E. Simpson, Sr.; and grandson-in-law, Paul Logsdon.

Virginia is survived by her daughter, Sandra Simpson; grandchildren, Lisa Logsdon (Scott Coons), Howard E. Simpson, Jr. (Mindy) and Karen Gwinn (Todd); great-grandchildren, Katie Cunningham (Darrell), Tyler Logsdon (Paige), Jessica and Hannah Simpson, and Aaron Gwinn; and great-great-grandchildren, Tucker, Memphis and Huntlee Cunningham, Paisley and Jaxson Logsdon, and Samuel Simpson; and by add a host of nieces and nephews.  

Visitation will be from 10am to 12pm on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243.  A celebration of Virginia's life will be at the funeral home at 12pm, followed by burial at Evergreen Cemetery.
