Virginia Adeline (Naville) Sperzel, 101, of Floyds Knobs passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2012. Virginia was a lifelong member of St. Mary Navilleton Catholic Church in Floyds Knobs.
Virginia was born on August 16, 1911 in Navilleton, Indiana to the late Peter S. and Adeline "Addie" (Perrin) Naville. She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert J. Sperzel, and siblings, Fannie Schmidt, Sr. Mary Matilda Naville, O.S.F., Alma Ellenbrand, Cora, Chester, Melbert, and Harry Naville.
She is survived by her son, Larry A. Sperzel; daughter, Betty Ruth Atkins (Richard); and granddaughter, Michelle Atkins.
Visitation will be from 12 to 5 PM on Sunday, December 16 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN 47150). Her Funeral Service will be at 10 AM on Monday at the funeral home with burial to follow at St. Mary Navilleton Catholic Cemetery, Floyds Knobs, Indiana.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Navilleton Catholic Church (7500 Navilleton Road, Floyds Knobs, IN 47119).
