Vinnie "Louise" (Mattingly) Lynch, 72, of Borden, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023.
She was born on October 2, 1950 in Kirk, Kentucky to Paul and Viola (Martin) Mattingly. In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Lacy Lynch; brothers, Paul Mattingly, Michael Mattingly; and sisters, Virginia Gilpin, Jean Glansbeek, Betty Hale and Suzie Corley.
Louise is survived by her husband of 54 years, Myles Lynch; daughters, Susan Lynch, Kelly Metts; grandchildren, Catie Hunt, Myles Hunt, Lily Lynch, Silas Metts; brothers, Jim Mattingly (Alexis), Bobby Mattingly (Geraldine); sisters, Nancy Richards, Pat Driskell (Larry), Gayle Lee (Bob); and over 120 nieces and nephews.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with a service celebrating Louise's life taking place at 6:00 p.m.
Contributions in Louise's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
