Victoria Catinna

Catinna, Victoria Joyce (Alexander), 71, of Louisville, went to be with Jesus on Thursday, June 20, 2013. Vicky was born on April 8, 1942 in Elizabethtown, KY to the late David Murray and Myrtle Zoe Alexander.
She was a graduate of duPont Manual High School, class of 1960, and also a graduate of Spencerian College. She was a former unit secretary for the old Highland Baptist Hospital, worked at Southeast Christian Church Daycare, and at Christian Academy of Louisville. Vicky was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fisherville and a former Southeast Christian Church member.
Vicky loved spending time with her family, church activities, music, art and exercising.
Vicky is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jim; and a son, Jim Catinna Jr, (Connie), and daughters, Debbie Allen (Jim), Jennifer Britt (Dennis) and Emily Castillo (Erich); grandchildren, Sydney, Mitch, Matt, Ethan, Ellie, Brandon and Carson. The family thanks Tera Brown and Cathy Elfgen for their loving care they gave Vicky for the last three years. We also want to thank Vicky's many friends for their love.
Celebration of life will be on Monday, June 24, 2013, at 11:00am, at Southeast Christian Church, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Visitation will be on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown from 12:00pm – 6:00pm.Visitation after 9:00am Monday at the church.
