Victor Richert

Victor Richert, passed away on January 17, 2025, in Louisville, Kentucky, at the age of 68. Born on February 25, 1956, in New Albany, Indiana, Victor dedicated his life to his career as an electrician, where he worked for himself for many years. His commitment to his craft and strong work ethic.

A multifaceted individual, Victor was an avid animal lover and an enthusiastic supporter of both the Chicago Bears and the Louisville Cardinals. His passions extended beyond sports; he found joy in fishing, hunting, and camping, reveling in the great outdoors.

Victor is survived by his sons, Matthew (Brooke) Richert and Chris (Amanda) Richert. He also had nine grandchildren. His mother, Shirley Jean Timmons, and sister, Cindy Davis, remain to honor his memory, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Victor was preceded in death by his son, Nicholas Richert, and his father, George Timmons, who welcomed him into rest.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Victor's life during visitation on Friday, January 24, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a funeral service that same day at 3:00 PM. Both events will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southern Indiana, located at 3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, Indiana.
