Verlin Nutt, 78, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on October 11, 2014. He was a proud United States Marine veteran. Verlin was very artistic, good working with his hands, enjoyed working on cars, playing cards, motorcycles and enjoyed going to flea markets.
Verlin was born on July 31, 1936, in Nelson County, Kentucky to the late Robert and Ora Lee Nutt.
Verlin is survived by his wife of 55 years, Barbara Nutt; son, Michael Nutt and Amy Carter; granddaughter, Michelle Nutt and step-granddaughter Penny Carter.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Kosair's Children Hospital, 231 E Chestnut St, Louisville, KY or St Jude's Children's Hospital, 135 W Muhammad Ali Blvd, Louisville, KY.
