Verdon Combs, 86, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. Verdon was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He always enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandkids. He loved bluegrass, church, and running dogs. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He was born on March 7, 1937 in Hazard, Kentucky to I.V. and Parrot (Richie) Combs. He is preceded in death by his Father, I.V. Combs, Mother, Parrot Combs, and Wife, Patricia Lynn Combs.
Verdon is survived by his loving family, Children, Faye (Christopher) Shirley, LeeAnna (Steven) Morrison, Scotty Combs, and Michael (Melanie) Combs; 7 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren, as well as a host of family and friends to cherish his memory forever.
