Vera Dawn Jackson

Vera Dawn Jackson, age 85 of Louisville, passed away Friday, May 30, 2014. She grew up in Columbus, Ohio was a graduate of West High School. She moved to Louisville in the late 60's and was formerly employed with Philip Morris. She was a member of Evangel Tabernacle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy G. Jackson, Jr.
Vera is survived by her loving children, Rick Lewis (Alice), Sharron Smith and David Lewis; 7 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and a host of family and friends.
Funeral ceremony will be 11am Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8pm Monday at the funeral home.
