Vera Kay Dale

Vera Kay (Wiseman) Dale, 75, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023. She loved holidays with family, especially Christmas, and enjoyed vacationing in Cancun. Vera was gifted when it came to making floral arrangements and Christmas bows. Above all else, Vera loved spending time with her family, especially her best friend and husband, Sonny.

She was born on March 14, 1948, in Corydon, Indiana, to Earl and Bernice Wiseman. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Marion "Sonny" Dale.

Vera is survived by her son, Michael (Trina) Dale; granddaughters, Nicole Dale and her fiancé, Jacob Tevis, and Hannah Wells; and her beloved cat, Jack.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 7, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Saturday after 9:00 a.m. Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home, followed by a Committal Service in the Chapel of Memories at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park with burial afterwards.
