Troy Dale Jackson, 60, of Pekin, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023. He enjoyed spending time with his family and congregation, and looked forward to "garage time" with his brother-in-law, Wayne. Troy liked going to the movies with his son and nephew, and was an avid fan of the IU Hoosiers and Indianapolis Colts.
He was born on May 29, 1963 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to Betty (Swartz) Jackson and the late Frank Jackson, Jr. Along with his mother, Troy is survived by his wife of 38 years, Carla (Harris) Jackson; son, Quinton Jackson; sister, Tonya Harper (Joseph); niece, Decia Harper; and nephews, Dalton (Zoey), Romen and Finneus Harper.
Troy's wish was to be cremated and a memorial service will be announced in the coming weeks.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (1659 N. Sparks Ferry Road, Salem, IN 47167) or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105).
