Trisha Anne Smith-Kolb

Trisha Anne Smith-Kolb, 72, passed away on November 19, 2023. She retired from the Louisville Corrections Police Department. Trisha was a docent at the Farnsley Moreman Landing and gave a lot of time to the Fairness Campaign. She volunteered with Voices and Police Band helping with lighting and sound equipment. Trisha was kind, thoughtful, loving, bubbly, optimistic a spit fire and a force of nature. She was selfless and would always be there for others. Trisha never met a stranger and always saw the good in others. She enjoyed women's sports program at University of Louisville and especially watching major league baseball.

She was preceded in death father, Edward Robert "Bob (Kolb) and her mother, Verna Lee (Kolb) Ungvarsky.

Trisha leaves to cherish her memories, her siblings, Michael (Mary Jo) Kolb, Mary Lu Fowler and Paula (Gary) Ruark; nieces, Mellicha (Scott) Wilson and Amanda (Patrick) Dittforth; great-nephew, Hans Dittforth; family, Sandy Foster and Ashlee Foster and her fur babies, Tumblina, Tiger Lily and Stinker Belle.

A celebration of Trisha's life will be held at a later date.
