Trina Kay Taylor

Trina Kay Taylor, 64, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2023. Trina was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She was strong, brave, and a wild and free spirit. Trina had a contagious laugh and the prettiest blue eyes and gorgeous smile that would light up a room. She loved her animals and loved caring for others. Her true purpose in life was raising and loving her family. Trina will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

She was born on July 14, 1958 in Louisville, Kentucky to Thomas and Lena (Scott) Green. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Tina Hess; brothers, David Green, Faim Green; sisters, Wanda Green and Dicey Green.

Trina is survived by her loving children, James (Cissy) Taylor, Richard (Sandy) Taylor, Lisa (David) Smith, Lois Taylor, William (Marie) Taylor, Bruce (Tammy) Taylor; companion of 32 years, Herbert Miller; sister, Nanza Green; brother, Thomas Green; 26 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Sunday, June 18, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday at 11:30 a.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West in Louisville, Kentucky.
