Tracy Demling

Tracy Demling, age 61, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. 

Tracy graduated from Atherton High School in 1981 and graduated from the University of Louisville. She was employed by Gallagher Bassett, formerly AIG Insurance, for 25 years. Tracy loved her family and friends and anything involving celebration. She was always smiling and sharing love. Tracy’s favorite things in life were her dogs, Sabu, Stanley, Stella, Sophia, Oliver, Simon, and Blazer. She also enjoyed snorkeling and scuba diving in the Virgin Islands. Key West was one of her favorite places to visit. 

Tracy was preceded in death by her parents Anthony and June Demling; and her brother Tony Demling. She is survived by her life long partner, Scott Frederick, her sisters-in-law Shelly Demling, Sandy Frederick (Mary), and Peggy Buchanan (John); brothers-in-law, Richard Frederick (Terry), Robert Frederick (Debra), and Randy Frederick (Brigitte); nephew, T.J. Demling (Pam); niece, Ashley Kerr (Tyler); as well as numerous aunts, uncles, extended family and a host of friends she also considered family. 

True to Tracy’s love for people, she willed that her organs be donated so that others could live and thrive. Cremation was chosen and managed by Newcomer, East Louisville Chapel. The family will hold a Celebration of Tracy’s Life at a later date at the Corner Cafe.
