Tonya Lynn Quill

Tonya Lynn Quill, 47, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023. Tonya was a loving and devoted, wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. She enjoyed spending time in her happy place, the pool. Tonya loved the lake and enjoyed boating. She was an avid animal lover and adored her nieces and nephews. She will be remembered for her wonderful cooking, especially her mac and cheese and brownies. Tonya had a heart of gold and always put others before herself. Tonya will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

She was born on September 22, 1975 in Springfield, Tennessee to Patricia (Hazelwood) Grissom. She is preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Danette Marcum, and mother-in-law, Anna Marie Quill.

Tonya is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Russell Quill; mother, Patricia Goodman; daughter, Katie Marcum; brother, Joe Grissom; sister, Melissa (Michael) Hillerich; brother, Scott (Angie) Grissom; brother-in-law, Mike (Debbie) Quill; sister-in-law, Sharon Quill; brother-in-law, Larry (Diann) Quill; father-in-law, Danny Quill, Jr.; fur baby, Duecey; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Sunday, June 11, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. A Celebration of her life will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family requests that contributions in Tonya's memory be made to The Kentucky Humane Society.
