Tonya Marie Bishop, 69, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024.
She was born on February 25, 1954 in Louisville, Kentucky to Theodore and Helen (Marshall) Bishop. She is preceded in death by her Father, Theodore Bishop, Sr., Mother, Helen (Herman) DeMines, Theodore "Teddy" Bishop, Jr., Donna Bishop, Gerald Bishop, Victor Bishop, and Brenda Cherry.
Tonya is survived by her loving family, Children, Jerron Porter, Cordelia Porter, and Aisha Porter; Several Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren; Siblings, Byron (Darlene) Bishop, Sr. and Shalonda (Timothy) Dickerson, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her memory forever.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Celebration of Life Service will be at 12:00 pm on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
