Tony Warner

March 24, 1956 — April 7, 2021

Tony "The Wiz" Warner, 65, of Crestwood, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2021.

Tony was born on March 24, 1956 in Charleston, West Virginia to Harold Warner and Maybelle Wolfe Warner. Tony is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Kenneth Warner.

Tony spent the majority of his life employed in the Food Service industry at a number of restaurants in the Louisville area, most recently at Cattleman's Roadhouse in Shepherdsville, since it's opening. However, his most loved position was traveling the country to various locations setting up landscaping displays at industry RV shows. In his spare time, he loved to garden and fish while listening to his favorite music from Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and Tom Petty. In addition, he was an avid University of Kentucky sports and Rams fan. Although Tony never had children, he loved his step-son and nieces and nephews as if they were his own.

Tony is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Warner, Step-Son, Nicholas Bass, brothers, Michael Warner, Mark Warner (Eileen), nieces, Stephanie Pearson, Christina Raymer, Annette Warner, Adrienne Warner, and Tina Warner-Lilly, nephews, Keith Warner, and Daniel Warner.

The family requests that contributions in Tony's memory be made to Hosparus of Louisville or The Kentucky Humane Society.
