Tony Farris

Mr. Tony Farris, age 42 of the Rock Haven Community in Meade County, passed away on Friday, November 5, 2010 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. He was a former volunteer firefighter with the South Dixie Fire Department and past member of the South Jefferson Baptist Church. Tony loved the outdoors and to hunt and fish. He is preceded in death by his father Marvin and his brother Lennie.

Tony is survived by his loving wife, Donna Warren Farris; children, Daniel, Kristina, Brianna and Anthony; his mother, Zelma Geary Farris; sisters, Becky Cotton (Richard) and Candy Carrington (Cecil); nephew, Jason Carrington (Kassie); nieces, Melody Carrington, Penny Helm (Jake) and Jenny Snyder. He is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.

A celebration of Tony's life will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 9, 2010 in the Chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, 633 Bland Street in Brandenburg, Ky., with burial to follow in Rock Haven Cemetery. Visitation will be at Hager Funeral Home from 4-7:00 p.m. Monday. Newcomer Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
