Tom went home to be with His Heavenly Father on Friday, February 21st, 2014. He was born to Harren W. & Deloris Horton Wallace in April of 1949. After he graduated High School, Tommy enlisted into the United States Navy, serving his Country. After his service, Tommy became self-employed as an inherited Carpenter. His skills of carpentry were a craft that demanded perfection and he devoted himself to a strict work ethic. As a beloved hobby, Tommy would often challenge friends and family alike, to a good game of billiards and he loved a great challenge, as often one game turned into many. However, that was not his only hobby, he loved fishing, hunting and enjoying being outdoors, spending time with nature. Last but not least, Tommy's love for animals was always noted, especially when it came to his sweet companion, Pete; his Siamese Cat. Anywhere Tommy would be, there was Pete and they were inseparable.
Tom comes from a heritage of believers in Jesus Christ and expressing His Faith was important to Him. A memory of his teenage years comes to mind, we recall when he came upon a young hawk and took it in. As he nurtured this hawk and finally had to release it back into the wild, we remember how he ran along with it, freeing it back to among God's nature. We picture him now, free of illness, lungs at full capacity with no difficulty in breathing, no more heart issues and all the while the scripture that comes to mind is: Isaiah 41:31- "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings, as Eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint."
Tom is survived by his loving immediate and extended Families:
Sisters, Jo Graziano & Husband, Bob; Carol Hardy & Husband, Mike and his Brother, Greg Wallace & Wife, Mary Kay; with a host of beloved family members; Uncles, Aunts, Nephews, Nieces and Cousins. Tommy was preceded in death by his Parents: Harren W. Wallace & Deloris Horton Wallace.
