Tom Rose

Virgil "Tom" Thomas Rose, 77, of Crestwood, KY, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024.

Tom was born on November 13, 1946 in Louisville, KY to the late Virgil and LuLa Rose. He is also preceded in death by his nephew, Stewart Powell, granddaughter, Quinn Prince and his beloved dog, Bubba.

Tom and Lea enjoyed spending time together, riding their Harley's, hiking, kayaking, boating at Cumberland Lake, golfing, fishing, hunting, traveling and most of all spending time with their friends and family. He retired after 38 years of service with the Ford Truck Plant, he was an avid Boy Scout Leader and a Mason at the PeWee Valley Lodge, and a proud Marine.

Tom is survived by loving wife of 33 years, Lea Ann Rose; son, Brian Rose (Mary); grandchildren, Sean, Mary; step-daughter, Sarah Thiel Prince (Justin); grandchildren, Jules, Mabel; two step-sons, Willie Thiel (Mallory); grandchildren, Liam, Tinley, Saylor, Archer and Silas; Jesse Thiel (Jenna); grandchildren, Lainey and Sterling. He is also survived by his beloved older sisters, Norma Lewis, Barbara Tague and Linda Delk, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2:30 pm until his celebration of life that begins at 4:00 pm on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions 235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243.
