Todd Anthony Richards

Todd Anthony Richards, 58, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023. He had a personality that was larger than life and loved his family and friends wholeheartedly and without reservation. Todd enjoyed traveling, especially to the beach, listening to music and attending concerts. He was known for being proud of his perfectly grilled ribs and vibrant green lawn. Todd was an avid Indiana Hoosiers basketball fan and had the wardrobe to confirm it.

He was born on November 24, 1964, in Corydon, Indiana, to the late Donald and Patty (White) Richards. Todd is survived by his significant other, Pamela Byerly; son, Elliott Richards (Morgan); stepmother, Carolyn Richards; brother, Troy Richards (Rebecca); niece, Ashley; great-niece, Addi; and a host of extended family members and friends.

Todd's wish was to be cremated, and a reception of family and friends will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Contributions in his memory may be made to the Floyd County Animal Rescue League (215 W. Market Street, New Albany, IN 47150).
