Tina Marie 'Gronnie' Willis, 66, of Louisville, Kentucky, was called home on May 10, 2023. She was the oldest daughter of the late William and Barbara Womack.
She had several jobs throughout her life, but she worked at Dynacraft for 18 years and retired in 2016. She enjoyed her work, her co-workers and was a dedicated and hard-working employee. The only job she enjoyed more than Dynacraft was being a mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren. She was an avid gambler who was known to win more than her fair share most of the time. She enjoyed an ice-cold diet coke, romance novels and games on her IPad. She was a well-known prankster and no one was safe from her shenanigans. She was a kind person who never met a stranger. Her outgoing personality was obvious by the smiles and joy that would materialize when she entered a room. Her love of family was unmatched and she always made sure to attend family functions and gatherings.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Womack and mother Barbara Womack. She is survived by her sister, Kelley DeGeorge (Pierre), and two brothers, Greg Womack (Kim) and Dennis Womack; her children, Barbara (Chris), Michael (Hope), and Tommy (Helena); her grandchildren, Joshua (Emma), Jacob, Colin, Isabella, Elizabeth, Christina, Caitlynn; and her great granddaughter, Halle.
Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday, May 16, 2023 and after 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243), with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
