Tina Louise Hilbert

Tina Louise Hilbert, 49, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2014. She was raised in Valley Station, attended Valley High School and graduated in 1982. She proudly graduated out of the 1992 JCC nursing program, at the top of her class, and became an RN. She spent many years caring for others as a nurse and the last 5 years caring for her handicapped daughter, Sara. Tina was a good friend to many and always willing to help those in need. She loved her family and grandchildren more than anything and was the first by your side at a time of need. She was a proud Nana to her grandchildren whom she loved passionately. Tina was a lovely lady who will be missed by many.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Murray.

She is survived by her son, Christopher Hilbert; daughters, Sara Hilbert and Savannah Puckett; grandchildren, Gideon and Aeon; father, Ed Murray; sisters, Cheri (Steve) Ballard, Terry (Ronnie) Walden; Annette Frey and Angela (Michael) Eagle; brothers, Edward (Lisa) Murray, Daniel (Donna) Murray and Robert Alan (Andrea) Murray and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 16, 2014 from 12pm-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway) and funeral services will be Monday, February 17, 2014 at 12pm at Newcomer Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Make a Wish Foundation, 1230 Liberty Bank Ln #300, Louisville, KY 40222.

Burial will be at Louisville Memorial Gardens West, 4400 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY.
