Scarborough, Timothy,(Tim) "Timbo"; 59, of Louisville KY, passed away on October 22, 2014 after a year long battle with cancer.
Tim was born on January 14, 1955 in Louisville, KY to the late Mary (Wheat)and Clarence Scarborough. He was graduate of Durrett High School. He enlisted in the Army twice where he received two honorable discharges as well as an accommodation medal.
In 1983 he moved to Aberdeen, SD where he met his wife, Karla Kay Kraft. They married March 24, 1984. Tim and Karla later had their son, Jamie Lee. Tim worked as a cook and chef in many fine restaurants over the years.
In 1989 they moved to North Dakota where he again cooked and later became a CNA.
In 1996 they returned to Louisville. He was a CNA at a couple nursing facilities, floor tech at a hospital, and he was last employed as a custodian at the Louisville Zoo.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 30 years, Karla; his son, Jamie Lee; honorary son, Matthew (Kim) Cape; brothers, Steve (Brenda), John (Donna), and David; sisters, Kathy (Tim) Lepping, Carolyn (Lee) Aley, Joanie (James) Monroe, Margaret (Peggy) Scarborough; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Jeannie and brother, Gregory.

Visitation will be held from 2pm-6pm on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272). A funeral service to honor the life of Tim will be held at 10am on Monday, October 27, 2014 at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central.
