Timothy Lee Smolenski

Timothy Lee Smolenski, age 60 died unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at his home in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born in Logan, West Virginia on December 19, 1962. Timothy was preceded in death by his parents, Alice Sloan and Edward Smolenski.

He was a graduate of Buffalo High School in West Virginia. He was an avid bowler and a member of the bowling league at Kingpin Lanes. Tim was a respected building contractor in Jefferson and surrounding counties. He was most recently associated with Schumacher Homes. His family and friends will always remember his giant bear hugs, his big heart, and his unconditional love for his children and family.

Timothy is survived by his children, Heather Elder (Adam), Rachel Smolenski, and Timmy Smolenski; his brother, Scott Smolenski; two grandsons, Aiden and Jaxson Elder; stepfather, Richard Sloan; and several nieces and nephews; as well as two close friends, Tommy Johns and Kenny White.

Visitation will be from 10am until noon on Friday, September 29, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243. A celebration of Timothy's life will be there at 12pm.
