Timothy Scott Harper, 64, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023. He retired from Ford Motor Company after 29 years and was actively involved in Matthew 14 Ministries in Charlestown.
He was born on September 10, 1959 in New Albany, Indiana to Les and Shirley (Young) Harper. In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by his grandson, Silas Harper; grandparents, James and Dorothy Young; brother, Victor Sands; half-sisters, Sue Ulbik and Brenda Lester (Marvin); uncle, Tom Burres; father-in-law, Kenneth McMillen; and grandparents-in-law, Bill and Virginia Kean.
Tim is survived by his wife of 42 years, Laura (McMillen) Harper; sons, Jason (Miranda), Adam (Kayla), Luke (Katrina) Harper; grandchildren, Madison, Savannah, Waylon, Charlotte, Theodore, Aiden, Easton, Montana, October; brother, Jeff Harper; sister, Nancy (Gary) Howlett; aunt, Janet Burres; and mother-in-law, Shirley McMillen.
A gathering of family and friends will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany).
