Timothy Wayne Engle, Sr.

Timothy Wayne Engle Sr." The King", 57, of Louisville, Ky, passed away on July 3, 2023 after a long fought battle with heart disease. He was a well-known mechanic that worked in several positions as an ASE Master Mechanic. He enjoyed watching University of Kentucky Sports, Fishing, telling stories, and Spending time together with family and friends.
Big Tim was born on May 29th, 1966, to the late Terry Lee Engle Sr. and Anita Gillespie (Husband Ira Gillespie) in Nebraska. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Terry Engle Jr.; and his sister, Traci Mattingly.

Tim is survived by the love of his life, Vonako Engle, his wife of 39 years. He is also survived by his brother, Keith Gillespie, his daughters, Christina M. Huber and Ashley N. Engle (Son-in-Law Rick); his son, Timothy W. Engle II (Daughter-in-Law Brittany); and his 12 grandchildren, Kaylee, Jordan, Aleea, Trinity, Anthony, Skilar, Mya, Michael, Kenadi, Alaya, Timothy III "Trey" and Kinsley; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8pm on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243 and on Friday, July 14th from 9am until 11am. A celebration of Tim's life will be held there Friday at 11am, with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Mt. Washington, Kentucky.
