Timothy Lee Bolton, 71, of Elizabeth, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022. He was born on December 27, 1950, in Birmingham, Alabama. Tim was a proud veteran of the United States Army, who served for over 40 years, retiring at the rank of Command Sergeant Major (CSM). He signed as a pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds and was inducted into the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame for Softball. Tim also spent many years as security for the country group Alabama and many other country favorites (June Jam Events). He held the homerun record for the June Jam softball event. He loved spending time tinkering with his cars, fishing, playing softball, and watching stars and planes in the night sky. He was an avid fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide and rivaled with his family over Auburn ("Roll Tide!"). His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. He held a special place in his heart for babies and elderly people. Tim will be lovingly remembered for his quick wit and sense of humor.
