Thomas Gerald "Tom" Turner, 77, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. He was a United States Navy veteran that served two tours during the Vietnam War. Tom was an avid golfer.
He was born on May 22, 1946 in Louisville, Kentucky. Tom is survived by his daughters, Kelli Turner, Kathy Chadwell (Jeremy); grandchildren, Isabelle, Cody, Braxton; and longtime companion, Mary Blancato.
Tom's wish was to be cremated and Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with his care. He will be laid to rest with military honors at New Albany National Cemetery.
