Thomas Stephen Feher

Thomas "Tom" Stephen Feher, age 80 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023 after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. Tom was born in Philadelphia on January 15, 1943 to Stephen and Mary K. Feher. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Edward Feher.
Tom was raised in Harleysville, Pennsylvania and attended Souderton High School, West Chester University and Penn State University. After several moves around the country, including many years in Evansville, Indiana, he and Sandy settled in Louisville in 1990. An avid golfer, he was known for his one liners on the golf course. Tom also loved the Louisville Cardinals, the Kansas City Chiefs, a good cigar, and a glass of bourbon. He was a member of Wildwood Country Club for over 30 years and was a 32nd Degree Mason.
In 2021, he retired from the George E. Booth Company after 38 years. He was proud to be an expert in instrumentation and technical sales in the bourbon industry and was a respected resource at nearly all of the distilleries in the area.
Tom loved and was proud of his family. He leaves behind his wife of 46 years, Sandy (Rueger); a son, Thomas Stephen Feher, Jr.; and two daughters, Staci Holder and Kathy (Feher) Hinkebein. Tom also leaves behind 8 grandchildren whom he adored, Kelsi Nash (Alex), Cody Sumrall (Sam), Marisa Hinkebein, John Hinkebein, Ben Hinkebein, Kelsey Crossland (Kyle), Corey Thomas Feher, and Colton Feher; as well as five great-grandchildren, Jaden, Chiara, Gage, Brooks, Toryn, and Baby Sumrall due in February whom he couldn't wait to meet. Tom also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
The family will host a Celebration of Life on Monday, December 11, 2023 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Newcomer Cremation, Funerals & Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243.
Memorial contributions may be made in Tom's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
