Thomas E. (Whitie) Stuteville, 82 passed away January 1, 2012 at his home.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, retired from Bluegrass Cooperage and a member of St. Athanasius Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Medley Stuteville, sister, Lucille Prestigiacomo and son, Robert W. Medley.
He is survived by children, Phyllis Lemke (John), Edward (Kathy) Stuteville, Ron, John (Janie), Art (Earlene) and Ken (Marilyn) Medley, asister, Hazel "Kitty" Hornback and 14 grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday at St. Athanasius, 5915 Outer Loop, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday 3-8 p.m., at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Dr.
Memorial gifts; American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
