Thomas J. Rush

Thomas J. "T.J." Rush, age 86 of Louisville, passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021. He was born August 31, 1935 to the late Thomas J. and Pernie Etta Witcher Rush. He was a proud Army Veteran and retired from General Electric after 44 years of service. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 201.

T.J. is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Inge; his son, Ronnie (Danya); his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Uschy Rhode and Dick Rhode; nephew and niece, Rick Hasapis and Kirsten Rhode; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be 2 to 7pm on Friday, October 1, 2021 and from 1 to 2pm on Saturday, October 2nd at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243. A celebration of T.J.'s life will be 2pm October 2nd at the funeral home. Burial will be at 11am Monday, October 4, 2021 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, Kentucky with military honors.
