Thomas Ray Wiles

February 17, 1926 — August 23, 2013

Thomas Ray Wiles, 87, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana passed away on Friday, August 23, 2013. He retired from American Electric Power Co. after 45 years of service as an accountant. Tom was a U.S. Navy Air Corp veteran serving his country during WWII. He was a member of St. Mary's Navilleton Catholic Church and a past member of the Elks Lodge in Madison, Indiana and the Knights of Columbus in Wheeling, WV.

Tom was born on February 17, 1926 in Wheeling, WV to the late Charles M. and Anna M. (Waldvogel) Wiles. He is survived by his wife of almost 64 years, Eileen T. Wiles; children, Thomas S. Wiles (Ann), Colleen M. May (Dennis), Judith L. Carroll (Doug), Jeffrey B. Wiles, Charles "Chuck" M. Wiles (Nancy); sister, Mary E. Mueller; and 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brothers; Karl, David and Fred Wiles; sister Esther Adams; daughter-in-law and bridge partner, Donna Wiles.

A Private Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Navilleton Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mount St. Francis Center for Spirituality.
