Thomas E. Meneely

Thomas Edward "Tom" Meneely was born October 18, 1937, in Washington County, PA. He passed into the arms of Jesus on November 13, 2024, at the age of 87 in Louisville, KY. The dash between his birth and death was filled with love for his Lord, his family, his church family and a love for people that led to a passion to lead others to find Jesus.

 The passion to reach others for Jesus took on many different looks. Tom filled the pulpit for small churches in search of a preacher. He led people to resources that would help them grow closer to Jesus as a bookstore manager. Tom rode the bus to work to be able to invite people to church. He set an example of how to give glory to God through sports as both a player and a coach.

Tom is survived by his wife of 61 years, Judy Meneely; 3 sons, Scott (Jill) Meneely, Alan (Beth) Meneely, Andy (Emily) Meneely; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-Grandchildren; sister, Lois Jean (Ken) Calfo; 2 nephews; 1 niece; and many cousins.

 We pray that his passion for sharing Jesus continues in our family and inspires those who knew him to do the same.

 A celebration of life service will be held at Hikes Point Christian Church on December 16, 2024. Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00pm with a brief memorial at 2:00pm.
