Thomas Mcbride, Jr.

February 20, 1928 — May 25, 2018

Thomas "Tommy" McBride Jr., age 90, passed away peacefully at the Forest Springs Health Campus on May 25, 2018. He was born on February 20, 1928 in Artesia, NM.

Tommy was a Veteran and he served proudly in the Army.

Tommy began his career with El Paso Natural Gas Company in 1957 at a Natural Gas Pumping Station outside Big Piney, WY. He worked over 25 years in the Natural Gas Industry and retired as an Engine Analyzer Technician for Northwest Pipeline in Farmington, NM.

He was a long time member of the Elks Lodge in Vernal, UT and Farmington, NM.

Tommy was preceded in death by his wife of almost 60 years, Wannell, his parents, Julia and Thomas Sr., his two sisters, Alice Jane and Irene, two brothers, Bill and Pat, and his grandson, Dirk Simonton.

He is survived by his five children, Tony McBride (Jolene), Barbara McBride, Rusty McBride (Charlene), Susan Parker (Rodney) and Hobey McBride (Susan), thirteen grandchildren, and twenty-three great grandchildren! He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

A celebration of Tommy's Life will be held on June 30, 2018 at the Fireside Room at Southeast Christian Church, 920 Blankenbaker Road Campus, Louisville, Kentucky 40243. Visitation is from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and the Service following at 1:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association or the American Parkinson Disease Association.
