Thomas W. King Sr.

Thomas W. King, Sr., 61, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle on long scenic trips, working on cars, long talks with his son, reading, flea markets, his animals, and most importantly spending time with his family, children, grandchildren, and great-grandson. Tom also enjoyed cooking and was an excellent chief.

He was born on December 1, 1961 in New Albany, Indiana to Harry and Doris (Duvall) King. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Tom is survived by his children, Clarence King, Thomas W. King, Jr., Harry L. (Ashton) King III, Dakota King, Alicia King, and Joseph A. King; grandchildren, Kyle, Jordan, Alexis, Zachary Thomas, Harry IV, Kendra, Joliegh Anne, Kasey, Kaydence, Alexander, and Evelyn; great-grandson, Theo King; loving partner of 21 years, Renee M. Thornton; siblings, Harry L. King, Jr., Charlotte Wysong, and Carlos (Sharon) King; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150). His funeral service will be at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions in Tom's memory be made to the funeral expenses.
