Thomas Owen Jennings

Thomas Owen Jennings, 47, of Louisville, Kentucky, peacefully passed away to the tunes of Metallica on Monday, July 25, 2022. He was surrounded by family and his loving wife.

Tom was born on March 28, 1975 in Louisville, Kentucky to Gene & Janice (Banks) Jennings. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Grandmother, Alpha Banks, and his beloved Siamese Cat, "Sasha".

He was an avid reader, a science fiction lover, a computer wiz, and a whimsical soul. He leaves behind bookshelves full of novels, numerous video games and movies, and a hole in our hearts.

Tom graduated from DuPont Manual High School in 1993 and was a part of the Math, Science, and Technology Magnet program. In his career, he continued along the technology path as a Senior Analyst at BA Merchant Services and further on as a Senior Network Reporting Analyst at AmeriHealth Caritas.

Tom is survived by his Wife of 18 years, Jaime (Weber) Jennings, Brother, David Jennings, Nieces, Kristen Jennings (Fares), and Janna Jennings, Aunt & Uncle, Joyce & Roger Abshire, Mother-In-Law, Marilyn Weber, and Brother-In-Law, Jeff Weber. Tom also leaves behind to cherish his memory his two Cats, "Gypsy" and "Orion", and a host of Friends and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy).
His Funeral Service will be at 12:00 pm on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Magnolia, Kentucky.
