Thomas Tuck Hancock

Thomas Tuck Hancock, 90, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022.

He was born on December 24, 1931 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late John Sherman Hancock and Roberta Strahan (Tuck) Gentry. He is also preceded in death by his brothers, John and Bob.

Tuck is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Barbara Ann (Coke) Hancock; his children Leslie Halfacre, Tom (Nicole) and Ralph Hancock; grandchildren Emily and Justin Hancock and great-grandson Judah Spalding.

Tuck was in the last graduating class of Anchorage High School in 1949 and a graduate of Centre College. He served in the U.S. Army from 1953 until 1955. Tuck was a CPA and had his own practice. He was a charter member of Hurstbourne Baptist Church, having served as deacon, teacher, treasurer as well as a numerous committees.

Visitation will be from 3:00 until the time of the memorial service at 5:00 on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Newcomer Cremation, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243).
