Thomas Mark Griley, 77, entered into eternal life Saturday, January 6, 2024. Mark was born and lived in Louisville, Ky. until his death. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. During his working years, He was a journeyman plumber, working in the hospitality industry before retiring with the Metro Parks Department for the city of Louisville. He enjoyed his retirement with his two faithful companions Harley and Sadie. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jane Griley and Thomas Albert Griley.
Mark is survived by his wife, the love of his life, Charlotte Griley; his children, Rebecca Allendorf (Mike), Victoria Diehl (Tim, who he adored), Harry Moore (Deb), and Toni Perkins (Heath); five grandchildren, Tyler Diehl (Thomas), Danielle LeGrand, Zachary Diehl, Bradley LeGrand (Alex), and Stephanie Diehl; and one great-grandchild, Findley LeGrand; and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 2pm to 5pm on Monday, January 15, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Ky. 40243, with a celebration of Mark's life at 5pm. Burial will be 10:30am Tuesday, January 16th at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, Kentucky.
Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors, Heartland Equine Rescue or donor's choice of any animal care charity.
