Thomas "Scott" Gibson, 60, of Henryville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019. He was an avid reader and movie buff. Scott loved to garden and also enjoyed traveling.
He was born on April 5, 1958 to Thomas P. Gibson and the late Patsy (Mooney ) Gibson. Along with his father, Scott is survived by his wife, Lisa (Mattingly) Gibson; children, Thomas A. Gibson, Nancy E. Gibson (Jason), Rachel Gibson (Errol), Jacob Gibson, Kaelyn Gibson; siblings, Nancy McDonald, John Gibson (Debbie), Grant Gibson (Tammy), Porter Gibson (Pam); grandchildren, Ty, Hayden, Cameron, Owen; many nieces, nephews and his beloved four-legged companion, Timber.
Cremation was chosen following Scott's wishes. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2019, at Tunnel Hill Christian Church (5105 Old Georgetown Road, Georgetown, IN 47122).
Contributions in Scott's memory be made to the J. B. Ogle Animal Shelter (201 Willinger Lane, Jeffersonville, IN 47130).
