Thomas Edward Hereford, Iii

Thomas Edward Hereford III, age 82 of Louisville, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family. He was a proud graduate of Male High School and attended Drew University. He was twice President of the Louisville Chapter of the National Association of Credit Managers, a 30 year retiree as secretary-treasurer from Brinly-Hardy, was district commissioner for the Boy Scouts of America, and was a square dancing enthusiast. He was a life-long Methodist. He was preceded in death by his sons, Thomas Edward Hereford IV and Paul Gordon Hereford, and his brother, John Larkin Hereford.

Mr. Hereford is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Carolyn Broadway Hereford; sons, David (Gwen) and Mark (Deb); 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral ceremony will be 11:00 a.m., Friday September 21, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with visitation there on Thursday from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Private interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Hosparus.
