Thomas E. Clifford Sr.

Thomas E. "Tommy" Clifford, 69, of Elizabeth, Indiana passed away on February 3, 2013. He was a very kind but stern man, never hesitating to give out his opinion. Tommy was always willing to help others and could be described as a great father and grandfather.

He was born on June 9, 1943 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Herbert and Elma (Hardy) Clifford. He was also preceded in death by his wife Joyce A. (Timberlake) Clifford; and siblings, Herbert and Phillip Clifford.

Tommy is survived by his children, Herbert Clifford, Sr. (Sherry), Patricia Clifford; siblings, Patricia Dagademan (Billy), Mary Staser (Lee), Elmer "Buster" Clifford (Diana), Margaret Reed, Aletha Faith (Dallas); 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will take place from 4PM to 8PM on February 6, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be held at 11AM on Thursday at the funeral home with cremation to follow according to Tommy's wishes. Burial will take place at a later date at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
