Thomas Wayne Davidson

Thomas "Tom" Wayne Davidson, 76, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on August 4, 2022. Tom was born in Milan, Tennessee to Cordie & Lorene Davidson on October 5, 1945 and was raised alongside three siblings.

Upon completing high school, Tom obtained his undergraduate degree from Murray State and continued his graduate studies from the University of Tennessee. Tom was a Colonel in the United States Air Force, serving as a physician and medical specialist. Through the years, Tom would add a multitude of other credentials and professional titles to his name. He enjoyed traveling, jazz music, and fine dining. In his later years, his biggest pride and joy were his children and grandchildren.

Tom is preceded by his parents, Cordie & Lorene Davidson, and his brother, George Davidson. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Daniel (Danielle Ristow) Davidson of Las Vegas, NV, Zachary Davidson of Evansville, In, Seth (Sarah) Davidson of Athens, TX, and Rosa Davidson of Princeton, IN; his grandchildren, Amelia, Dani, and Penelope Davidson; his siblings, John (Annette) Davidson and Ann Davidson, as well as other family members and friends who will all miss him dearly.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243) from 12:00pm - 2:00pm with service to follow beginning at 2:00pm. Tom's final resting place will be at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (2501 N Dixie Blvd, Radcliff, KY 40160).
