Thomas Edward Brown

Thomas Edward Brown, 48, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023. He had been a longtime volunteer for the Crusade for Children and the Floyd County Animal Shelter. Tom loved to go fishing, enjoyed watching car racing, and visiting the Sportsdrome.

He was born on January 4, 1975 in Scottsburg, Indiana to Rebecca (Duggins) Brown and the late Edward Brown. Along with his mother, Tom is survived by his brother, Chris Brown (Melissa); nieces, Emma, Abby, and Rorie Brown; many aunts, uncles, cousins; and his beloved dog, Kaylei.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 14, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Tuesday after 10:00 a.m. His funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Tom's memory may be made to the WHAS Crusade for Children (520 W. Chestnut Street, Louisville, KY 40202) or to the Floyd County Animal Rescue League (215 W. Market Street, New Albany, IN 47150).
