Thomas B. Cook, Jr.

Thomas B. Cook, Jr., age 77 of Louisville, passed away Thursday. July 10, 2014. He was an Army Veteran, a graduate of WKU with a bachelor's degree and a member of John Knox Presbyterian Church. He retired from Burt R. Huncilman Company. He also worked many years at Kentucky Machinery, Inc. He was a member of the Kentucky Rifle Association and lifetime member of the NRA.

Mr. Cook is survived by his loving wife of almost 50 years, Mary Hoskinson Cook; his children, Thomas B. Cook, III (Julie) and Cathy Grant; five grandchildren, Sarah, Hannah and Eli Cook, and Adrian and Millie Grant; and a sister, Rosemary Almy. He is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be 4-8pm Monday, July 14, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with prayer service to follow. Interment will be Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Elizabethtown Cemetery, Elizabethtown, Kentucky at 11am. A Memorial Service will be 3pm on August 3, 2014 at John Knox Presbyterian Church, 9104 Westport Rd, Louisville, KY 40242.
