Theresa Porter Petty

Theresa "Reese" Porter Petty, age 54, passed away on July 13, 2014, at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville.

Theresa was born to parents, William H & Elizabeth Porter and raised in the Westside of Louisville amongst seven brothers and sisters. As a youth Theresa attended Shawnee and Central High School, later gaining her credentials as a certified nursing assistant.

Theresa regarded life as an adventure, she loved dancing, traveling, going to the gambling boat and spending quality time with her loved ones. A beautiful woman, Theresa had a laugh that was contagious and unforgettable.

As a loving mother, she raised two sons who are left to cherish her memories, Rodney Pullen, Jr. and William "Lil Wim" Pullen. As well as grandchildren, Nikiah Pullen, Janiyah Pullen, Trinity Pullen, and William Pullen Jr; siblings Clarence Porter, Clarice Porter, and Patricia Porter Watters. Theresa will also be remembered by her loving aunt Patricia Spencer, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends. May she rest in paradise.

Memorial service will be held this Thursday, July 17, 2014, between 1pm-6pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel located at 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, Kentucky 40272, all are welcome.
