Theresa Antionette (Hardy) Ketterer

Theresa Antoinette (Hardy) Ketterer, 94, loving mother and grandmother, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. She was a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Butchertown. Theresa enjoyed cooking and playing bingo on Fridays. A wise and intelligent woman in so many ways, she will be dearly missed by her family.

She was born on April 19, 1928, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Charles, Sr., and Marie (Gutfleisch) Hardy. In addition to her parents, Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Ketterer, Sr.; son, Alfred Ketterer, Jr.; and siblings, Charles, Jr., John, Frank, and Cletus Hardy, Amelia Ann Hardy Ellis, Mary Rita Hardy-Higgins, and Dennis Hardy.

Theresa is survived by her children, Christopher Ketterer, Sr., Philip Ketterer, Mary Ann Nolan, Johnny Ketterer (Pamela), Lisa Taylor (Dennis), and David Ketterer; sister, Rose Wilkins; 15 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 9, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Tuesday after 9:00 a.m. at St. Benedict's Church (1240 Matha Avenue, Louisville). Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the church with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville.
